How to use PicPick

Selection panels

Organise a client shortlist and export selections.

All tutorials

  1. 1. Create the panel

Choose Create Panel. Set the name, business profile, theme, selection limits, password, downloads and expiry using the available controls.

  2. 2. Choose the source

Use PicPick Cloud for uploads, or a connected Google Drive source when available. Drive panels do not copy those originals into PicPick.

  3. 3. Upload and organise

Open Upload for a cloud panel. Add images or folders and verify the queue finishes. Panels preserve nested folders, including folders inside other folders. Check your upload allowance first.

  4. 4. Share a selection group

Use the Selection menu to manage groups and share the intended client link. Preview it before sending. Clients can select, favourite and comment according to your settings, then submit their choices.

  5. 5. Review and export

Use Download Selection for detailed text, file paths or a ZIP of filename lists organised by group and folder. Browser paths are relative. Supported Electron builds can select a local root folder for absolute Lightroom paths.

  6. 6. Maintain the event

Use Find Similar for culling when permitted. Workspace details shows access and dates. Active, Archived and Trash are separate states; read recovery prices and deadlines before confirming.

Before you begin

  • Active-panel exports follow subscription and panel permissions. Trashed-panel selection exports require the displayed one-time purchase unless already unlocked. Buying a selection export does not restore its media.
  • Account backups exclude archived and trashed items and skip Google Drive panels. A selection text export is different from a photo backup.

Check the subscription, panel expiry/access, upload allowance and any API-key permissions.

Which local folder should I choose?
