Role Description
As a UI/UX Designer at PicPick, you will take ownership of the visual and interactive language of our entire ecosystem. We build tools for photographers—people who make a living through aesthetics. Therefore, our software must not only function flawlessly but look undeniably premium.
You will be responsible for upgrading our core studio dashboard, designing entirely new client-facing experiences (like our Selection Panels and Digital Albums), and ensuring that complex workflows—such as multi-day CRM scheduling or B2B invoicing—feel intuitive and effortless.
You will work directly with our engineering team to translate your Figma prototypes into reality, maintaining strict adherence to our dark and light mode design systems.
Key Responsibilities
-
End-to-End Product Design: Lead the design process from initial wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs in Figma.
-
Design System Management: Maintain, expand, and document the PicPick design system, ensuring absolute consistency across our web, desktop, and mobile applications.
-
Micro-Interactions: Prototype complex animations and state changes to bring the UI to life, making the software feel responsive and delightful.
-
User Research: Conduct interviews and usability testing with professional photographers to uncover pain points and validate new feature concepts.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you must have a relentless eye for detail and a deep empathy for the end-user.
-
A stunning portfolio showcasing complex web application (SaaS) designs, not just marketing landing pages.
-
Mastery of Figma, including auto-layout, variables, advanced components, and interactive prototyping.
-
Obsessive attention to typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and accessibility standards.
-
A basic understanding of frontend constraints (HTML/CSS/Tailwind) to ensure your designs are feasible to build.
